North Korea to Mexico: Give Us Back Our Ship

Recently North Korea accused Mexico of holding one of their cargo ships, Mu Du Bong, illegally.  Mexico said as of Wednesday, that they were just following standard protocol because the ship could have been considered a threat. The company that owned the ship was North Korea's Ocean Maritime Management company. “The Security Council blacklisted Ocean Maritime Management in July, saying it "played a key role in arranging the shipment of concealed arms and related materiel" on another ship, the Chong Chon Gang, which was detained by Panama in 2013.” North Korea said that by keeping the crew members of the ship from their families that it was violating their human rights. The 33 members of the ship were then freed after months of being held in mexico but North Korea had to pay a $666,666 fine for the release of the cargo ship.
